This week:

We continue with the independent graphic novel study.

803: All instructions can be found in your Google Drive - French folder.
Monday: Day 5: Setting: Draw and describe the setting. Add 3-5 vocabulary words.
Tuesday: Day 6: Plot: Explain the plot up to this point. Add decorations.
Thursday: Day 7: Conflict/problem: What is the conflict in the story?
Friday: Listening test: Bring headphones/earbuds if you have them. To prepare, you can listen to the video in advance: "Qui a inventé la bande dessinée?" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PAC3EBg1RvY

Monday, May 20: Fête de la reine!

This week: Independent Graphic Novel Study continues
Final due date: Thursday, June 13.  This date is firm. 
If you have not started the written aspect yet (the one pager/la grande feuille), please see the teacher to work at lunch. 

Tuesday, May 21: Day 3 of novel study: Character (personnage) and vocabulary words (vocabulaire)

Thursday, May 23: Day 4 of novel study: Interesting quote

Friday, May 24: Track and field day (This is an all day event - please dress appropriately and bring water bottle). Rain date: Monday, May 27.

*Independent graphic novel study starts this week!
Necessary materials: pencil crayons and/or fine tip markers, ruler 
Optional materials: scissors and glue stick

The routine for each class:
1. Mini-lesson
2. Independent reading
3. Fill out a section of the "one pager" (Each section will be evaluated at the end of the day.)

Final due date: Thursday, June 13. 
If you are absent during the unit, you must speak to the teacher to read/complete work at lunch.
